Well, if that’s not bad enough, I got a quote from a friend the other day, saying Father Karras is “a bit chunky”. Madness, this is!
Come to think of it, everyone in The Exorcist was chubby when compared to today’s Hollywood personas. Ellen Burstyn would be considered a “porker” because she weighed about 120 lbs.! 😉

I don’t get how the US media is so out of touch with reality when it comes to weight and obesity. From watching US TV shows and movies I’d had thought that everyone there was rake thin, but the few times I have visited the good ‘ol USA I felt like I was on a different planet! I could not believe how fat everyone was! LMAO
Good point, Witch. I have met a lot of celebrities and they look even thinner in person. Amazing how that camera puts “faux” weight on them. They must all remain “rake thin” with certain exceptions of course. Even contracts in Hollyweird (and elsewhere) require maintaing “X” weight.
As an aside, if I had blown hard enough on Drew Barrymore at party, she would have blown away. J/K DB, you know I love you! 🙂

I know this might seem like an irrelevant question, but I was reading on a website and Father Karras was described as being “chubby”. I hope they are being sarcastic, because in my eyes, he’s no where near to that! Where are they looking is what I want to know! He always looks quite skinny to me… What does anyone else think?
You probably can’t find her weight b/c weight tends to fluctuate a lot over time whereas height doesn’t fluctuate much in adulthood.
