Automotive possession

Watching “The Car” this holiday season on a double bill with “Christine” I got to thinking about my fav pic about a possessed vehicle; “KILLDOZER”. If this old movie of the week isn’t available on dvd there is something wrong with this world. As I recall, an alien entity in a meteorite invades a bulldozer at a remote construction site. It seems to me it was written by Mattheson or Bloch or some such legend in a medium which had gained unexpected repect with cult items like “Trilogy of Terror”, “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” & “The Night Stalker”. I still have the comic book adaption of “Killdozer” Marvel printed but would pay real money to see this nearly forgotten gem alonside the citizen kane of demonic automotive pics; “Duel”.
