Please vote for my friend’s Diary of the Dead zombie short film contest submission here!

My very good friend Monte Light has made a short film that has been submitted in the Dairy of the Dead zombie short film contest. The grand prize is one of the contestant’s film’s inclusion on the Diary of the Dead DVD release, so just click on the link below (or copy it to your URL bar at the top of your browser). First, I ask for all you Myspace members to vote on the film please– so be honest and click “booyah” if you like it or “no way” for the only other obvious reaction and the top ten of the popular vote on this Myspace video contest go to director George A. Romero, the director of the original 1968 Night of the Living Dead and 1978 Dawn of the Dead who is making this new film, for him to pick his favorite. So it seems you all have to do your part in politics, LOL. Despite this short being one of the best, humbly speaking of course (and I’ve seen on the submissions page a ton of bad short films and only a few good ones), the rating system is very weird and actually where it is right now in comparison to some of the others is honestly good. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the other kids who also have films submitted are all themselves and all their friends voting ‘no way’ on all the competition just to get their ratings lower than their own. But maybe, our rating will get a little higher up again. Hopefully, you guys can help.

I did the photography/camera work, which was heavily influenced by Night of the Living Dead. I think it all turned out pretty decent. What do you think? 😉
