I was browsing through imdb last night, and someone provided images of the final, cut scene of the film where Ullman, Wendy and Danny can be seen in a hospital room. The quality leaves a lot to be desired for, but still:

I read somewhere that a lot of way more famous actresses were considered for the role but Shelly D was picked purely because of her face. She has the most ‘rabbit caught in the headlights’ expression I have ever seen.
