Hatter, if it isn’t too late…

Here is an idea I had which could very much go a long way in helping your fan-edit achieve what it sets out to do…

Include all the sequences (from E:TB) featuring the Pazuzu amulet/idol (except the Semalier scenens that begin/end the film). You might put it in the dream sequence(s), or — and my first idea — have ’em be a part of the film… like, during the story as things are happening they turn up. So, please consider using JUST:

1.The close-up of the Paz idol/amulet on the ground in the opening “crucifixions” scene in E:TB.

2.The close-up toward the end of E:TB when it’s on the ground again, getting covered by sand.

One or both may be for a dream(s), but Maybe you can strategically put it in there someplace else in the story.

I dunno, just be open-minded. I think it could be really cool, if placed properly withing this new narrative you’re construction from both films. I mean, it would even serve as a connection to the 1973 film, besides the fact that “It’s the Pazuzu idol/amulet again!”. You see, in the 1973 film, the St.Michael’s medallion turned up in Iraq for some strange, mysterious reason. So, too, this Assyrian idol/amulet to turn up in Kenya…? It would be similar, but different. And, it’d be cool. 🙂

That said, DON’T include the Pazuzu statue underground; the African version is it — no others.
