Oh, but no lighting changes. The film presents a different story. “Merrin’s journey”. This isn’t the darker, modern, gritty 1970s. Dig…?

One more peep outta me:

If only one edit will be made, then the whole of the shot footage of Paul Schrader’s film should NOT be cut down or modified; if anything, ADDED TO — the title change not withstanding.

…again: IF only one fan edit is to be made.

Incidentally, what if this first fan edit happened to be “my” custom one (with ideas above) — and, from that one, any additional changes/edits/modifications y’all have in mind could be done for a second edit?

I figure, initially the more completed footage in there, the better; even the deleted scenes, and even E:TB stuff.

We’ve got it. 🙂 It isn’t bare-bones, after all. Of course, the film itself, not defiled for all eternity as a special feature on the E:TB DVD, that’s pretty special. 🙂

But I agree, something more substantial would be nice.

I’d be happy with the last shot of DOMINION *FADING INTO* the E:TB footage of Merrin walking in the street toward the Vatican, and FADING INTO the SATAN’S MARCH/credits.

I would also like all of the deleted scenes carefully reinserted.

And if I had to ask for one more thing, it would be the nixing of the “DOMINION: PREQUEL TO THE EXORCIST” title and replacing it with: “EXORCIST: DOMINION”.

Other than these SPECIAL REQUESTS (hint hint), I say, leave the film as is; no color or effects adjustments. Please.
