ParticipantThis site was bought out a couple of years ago and then abandoned by the new owner, sadly. Really miss the community here!

I’ve never noticed this either. It’d be really interesting if it was Karl lying on the floor, which would solve the whole “how did Regan get the crucifix” debate. Though, my guess is that it’s a special fx person who accidentally got into the shot….
I doubt it’s an FX guy dressed in a suit (you can even see the white sleeves of the shirt poking out). Plus, in RAISING HELL all the crew is behind the camera pulling the rigs. There isn’t really any need for an FX guy to be there. However, I cannot see any sign of Karl in the behind the scenes footage either.

ParticipantThe footage has been floating around for a few years now however some of the clips in the video are much better quality than what I’ve previously seen.
The footage at the very end is not actually from Movie Magic but rather an issue of Movie FX Mag which was basically a video magazine sold on DVD. DIck Smith provided some of his test footage for Issue #9.

ParticipantI’m not expecting much. I’m sure they’ll look better than their DVD counterparts but nothing spectacular. However, I’m still looking forward to having E3 and Dominion on Blu!

ParticipantI'm not sure if I'm supposed to take this thread seriously or not…
But I imagine Linda is far too busy with her foundation to be playing on Neopets. If you're telling the truth then it's most likely someone pretending to be her.
However, I have read those allegations towards her and I really don't understand where these people are coming from. I had the pleasure of meeting Linda twice last year and she was the absolute sweetest. Nothing but positive things to say about both experiences. Linda is a wonderful person.

ParticipantThey changed their minds again and left the DVD out. It's just the Blu-rays and Ultraviolet digital copies.

ParticipantI thought The Conjuring was good but it was a bit like switching between two channels during an break; one showing The Haunting and the other Army of Darkness. I had the same pacing issue with Wan's previous flicks. He builds up all this atmosphere and suspense but then quickly drops that for completely over the top horror sequences and it becomes way too cheesy. Just doesn't work for me.

ParticipantBoth of those effects added to The Version You've Never Seen have (thankfully) been omitted from the new print. I guess Friedkin either missed that sound effect or felt it still had it's place there

ParticipantIt's possible that the 4k version will have a separate, bare-bones release, similar to what Sony are doing with their 'Mastered in 4k' series.
