this is part of the point,Damian Redeems himself so to speak, by this point Damian has finally let go of his doubt in God, He Beleives, He’s excepted that this is truely a Demon or the Devil, thats why he says “You son of a bitch”.
Jumping out the window is Spontanious, The Window is directly infront of Him, he Beleives that in this Moment it’s the Only way defeat the Demon, By destroying the Vessel it is in.
so in this Moment he was not being Vain.Of Course He wasn’t entirely succsesful, thats made obvious in LEGION/EXORCIST 3.
Im in the same situation as far as money goes, but im gonna try and get the DVD of it, then Id be able to get rid of the damn subtitles, and Id be able to make myself a region free copy.
I rember hearing about Harlin having to cut some graphic stuff from the trailer and the movie, there was a discription of a white face with blood coming from the eyes, then there is a behind the scenes photo of the makeup artist working on some kind of grotesque face, but it wasn’t in the movie.
these faces are found in the dvd menues but go by so fast, but they were things that obviously were made and intended for the movie, but what were the original intentions, and are there cut scenes with these.
these were very tiny images that came and went so fast that most people probably don’t notice, these are basicly cropped from menue frames and blown up, otherwise there not really noticable, the one on bottom flickerd real fast when they had the inside of the church on the menue screen and a crow comes flying forward the screen starts to turn black and this face is there for an instant, i didn’t know it was a face until I lookd at it 1 framne at a time.
I saw some specs for the steel book ETB DVD, there is some featurette thing listed called Poltergeist, it has a runnig time of 40 something minutes.

If there is ever a Special Edition of EXORCIST 3, Obviously I Hope Somehow the original version be there, but either way, I would say they should digitaly fix that.an example, the most recent DVD Release
for a Nightmare on Elm Street, Had a few minor things done, there was some Recoloring done to most of the nighttime scens and dark scenes, kinda wat happend with the EXORCIST, also theres apart when freddy falls backwards on the stairs, It’s always shown a Mattress on the stairs for the stunt Man, it’s gone Now.On some asian sites Ive seen an uncut Dvd of ETB for sale, it’s region 3.
and I managed to fin one comment on a site a person was saying his friend had bought it, and it was totallt differn’t then what we got.
Does anybody Know about this?on yesasia.com it clearly lists a Dominion dvd and then there is a us version of ETB then a uncut version of ETB.
at warner home video hong kong it’s called original uncut version
there person that mentioned this version comented about the gore being cut to an extent when it was released, but this has more, but I dont know what else it may have.
also said it being cut is what made it suck,(sucks either way) but Im not sure what was ment buy that.
