It’s an exciting time to be a fan of The Exorcist! Warner Brothers have just released the official trailer for the upcoming Blu-ray special edition release of The Exorcist, complete with glimpses of never before seen footage of little Linda Blair having her make-up applied by Dick Smith, hugging William Friedkin on set, enjoying a milkshake in the medical room and other stock footage from the production of the film.
There are also pieces of new interview footage with Linda Blair, cinematographer Owen Roizman and director William Friedkin, all bundled together with over two minutes of snippets from ‘The Director’s Cut‘ version the film (previously titled The Version You’ve Never Seen) that will be included with the original cinema cut.
The Exorcist on Blu-ray is released October 5. Be sure to pre-order your copy if you haven’t already, because first shipments are expected to sell very quickly!
