ParticipantYes! I love that line at the beginning of the movie! Adds all that tension!

ParticipantI kind of regonized some of the pictures in the house, or the style. I was pondering this the other night and maybe the studio/company that put out the movie had pictures done by some artists and reuse them in other movies. Props, prop houses, don't they reuse some of that stuff?

The movie looked great, but Spike edited the crap out of the movie.Â

ParticipantI've had no such luck identifiying it. The only picture I had to go off of was this: http://citypaper.net/blogs/clog/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/exorcist-head-spin.jpg and i've typed in a varity of different word combonations on google. I suggest spending a few hours on google looking though hundreds of pictures of tree scenery. Best of luck!

ParticipantHow much for one? Jk, it's amazing. You did a very impressive job.

ParticipantI learned of masterbation when I was, what, like 10 or 11. I'm sure she must have known what she was doing. Even the sheltered kids know by age 13.

ParticipantI hate to be a party pooper, but I never liked the bloody spiderwalk. I think it kind of was put of place. I liked the one verison of the Spiderwalk that someone did on youtube, where Regan chases Sharon. Then, that is just my opinion.

ParticipantFB, I just noticed I made that a bit confusing. Blatty wrote in The Exorcist Novel To Film, that the clay at the bottom of the steps was to take place of the whole paint scraping bird scene. I kind of think that certain things in the movie don't make sense unless you read the book.

ParticipantIn the movie they use the clay at the bottom of the steps to show how Kinderman got his clay sample instead od him scraping it off and so on. To same time in the movie.

I thought it was the Pazuzu head too when I first saw it. I was so deeply confused and freaked out.

I just bought a copy of Watchdog Magizine and it's all about The
Exorcist. This will probably be my new favorite thing. Anyone of you
guys have one of these?
This one?

It's one of the best magazine write-ups on the film!
Yes! That one! I'm glad to hear it's a good write-up. It just shipped today and will be here in a few days! I can't wait to read it!Â

ParticipantYes, in the movie that is the only part you hear the director's voice. In the book it gets into move. It is to attack the person mentally. I do believe in the first verison of the script for the movie there is move of the directior/demon voice, but due to time it was cut out.

ParticipantI haven't gotten anything speical yet. I guess it would be my one copy of the book.
