KeymasterYou do not own the copyright on this image. It belongs to Warner Brothers, if anyone… and they are happy for me to feature Exorcist media of most nature (check out their logo on the bottom of the site, buddy).
Feel free to take this further if you wish. Simply prove the image is rightfully yours and I will be happy to pull it down.
Asking nicely in a confidential email to the webmaster would have been preferred to demanding on my public forum.

Keymasterstopstealingmyimage, please accept my apologies. Having only just re-installed my new PC into my new home interstate, I only just received your emails sent some time ago. You did indeed contact me personally before coming to this public forum (something I can’t blame you for doing as I would have done the same thing had a webmaster not responded to me). I would have replied to your emails instantly but have been offline for some time (as per THIS POST.
Please accept my apologies for stating you should have emailed me first when in fact you had.

KeymasterMike, I think fans of Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, James Bond, Spider-Man, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Silence of the Lambs/The Lecter’s etc may debate they have better sequels and therefore are more deserving of ultimate box sets. 😉
But I see your point and agree with you – an Exorcist ultimate box set would be great.
However we don’t want to scare the studios off. I believe we will have much more success convincing them to deliver a mammoth DVD pack devoted to just the original (which is just about the only safe-bet profit-wise).

KeymasterBenocles_Czar, I agree with Justin. As I said before, while Legion is (arguably) the best of the sequels, I think fans would prefer an ‘ultimate’ edition of The Exorcist first and foremost. This is also more likely to occur with the profitability of The Exorcist.
A push for an ultimate box set of The Exorcist is something I want http://www.CaptainHowdy.com to be officially behind and I have made arrangements to start a campaign through this site and its dedicated members later in January.

KeymasterBrought a tear to my eye also. Such a sad thing to happen to a loving family. Thank you for sharing, Mr. Blatty, and I’m glad the words from users on this site gave some comfort.

KeymasterStudios only tend to release such figures when sales are ground-breaking. As I understand it, only WB/Morgan Creek would know (officially) how many sales various DVD’s have had. There may be guestimates floating around but I doubt they’d be precise.

Keymaster12 in The Exorcist, 16 in Heretic.

KeymasterI would rather a bumper-pack all-time huge best-ever ultimate special edition of the original Exorcist – packed with absolutely everything you could desire – before worrying about any special editions for the lesser sequels.

KeymasterAs always, Justy – a great find. Main page for this nice rare image.
Happy 33rd Birthday, The Exorcist. And here’s to one of the coolest opening dates for a film of this nature, too – the day after Christmas. Priceless.

KeymasterMike, as per this thread, we will see plenty of action in 07. Big plans.

KeymasterThis one definitely gets added to the Parallel Imagery section when it goes live again in 2007!
Benjamin sent it to me quite a while ago now, while CH.com was down. I like it and think it is definitely worthy of parallel imagery listing.

KeymasterWOW, ‘Deathrage”! Now THAT’s going back in time, right there!

KeymasterThere was also an adult title back in the 90s called ‘The Sexorcist‘. Too funny!

KeymasterBadLocust77, it’s not a contest as such – more a request of interest. Fire away.
