Sorry but I don’t think I will ever make an Exorcist-type film. There is just no topping the original so why even try?
I will, however, continue to pay homage to The Exorcist in all of my films. In this one, I guess the spew (though not pea soup) nods to The Exorcist, and in my next, HAIR DYE, the psychiatrists name is DR. KARRAS 😉

I think you have seen The Exorcist too often or something, though, because there were no subliminal shots.

I recall reading once that Blatty came close to meeting the boy, but the Jesuits would not allow it. He spoke with the Jesuit who was involved with the exorcism and was able to get his hands on the journal that was kept… or something to that affect. A little hazy on the details but I’m pretty sure Blatty was speaking directly with people involved.
MIKE – YOU’RE an artist! Why don’t you do a one-page snapshot of your favorite scene for us or something.
A graphic-novel adaptation of ANYthing Exorcist would be really interesting.
Us Exorcist fans miss out on all that type of memorabilia stuff. Our film is very unique in that way.
Some of you might know I’m an independent filmmaker just starting out over here in Australia. I recently completed an experimental short film with more projects on the way, so I thought I’d post it here and get some feedback from Exorcist fans.
This was independently shot over a couple of days on a next-to-nothing budget for the sake of experimenting & learning about film production. It’s called LIVING WITH BENJAMIN.

Robert DeNiro (with the beard)… but he would never sign on, or Anthony Hopkins – his performance in BOBBY convinced me.
