Sorry if this is the wrong place >_>

It always used to scare me because it reminded me of the movie (which used to terrify me). But now that I actually listened to the whole thing, it’s really one of the most amazing, different and progressive songs I’ve ever heard. I’m a big metal fan so progressive music isn’t new to me, but this really kind of blew me away. Anyone else a fan?

I think it is one of the best instrumental songs. I’m a huge fan of the song. 🙂

Yes, I cannot hear this song without associating it with The Exorcist.  It is a beautiful piece of music, but wow….I just can't hear it without seeing Regan's face.

And interestingly enough, the music was used in a rather innocuous moment in the movie….Chris taking a walk home from the movie set, instead of riding with her chauffeur.   (And just at the end of the movie closing with Fr. Dyer, before the credits start with the haunting violin piece.)

It pops up again in the movie.  As Karras says the line “stealing is a sin” to Fr. Dyer, you hear a guitar strumming part of Tubular Bells coming from another dorm room.

A wonderful song. My dad has the supper long version on his computer. Which I have yet to have on my iPod. 🙂 Really like the song and when you hear it. 😀
