Hi! I’m planning a weekend in Montreal and I don’t know what to see or do. What places and activities do you recommend? I want to see the city at its best, but I don’t have much time. Any ideas would be great! Are there any cool shows or restaurants worth trying?

You can go to Comedyville, it’s a cool English comedy club that’s located in the historic Gare Centrale building. They have live stand-up shows every weekend and the local comedians perform, which adds to the atmosphere. They also have great food, like pizza, burgers, and even traditional smoked meat, so you can eat well. If you want to know what shows are on next weekend, check out this: https://www.comedyville.ca/upcoming-shows/ . It’s a great place to hang out with friends or have a romantic evening. Don’t worry about parking either, there are plenty of spaces near the station. It’ll be fun!

Montreal is a really cool city for a weekend! I would add that it’s worth walking around the old town, there are many historical places there. Also, don’t miss the local markets – it’s a great way to try local delicacies and buy souvenirs.

I totally get the struggle of wanting to capture and share trip photos without lugging around heavy gear. When I’m on the road, my iPad becomes my mini studio it’s just so convenient. The only downside is that Lightroom’s subscription can feel like overkill if you’re just editing on the go. That’s when I started exploring a good lightroom alternative ipad option . It breaks down some solid tools that don’t drain your budget but still give you the flexibility to edit quickly while traveling. It’s been a game-changer for me when I’m trying to balance sightseeing with getting my photos ready to share.
