Gotta go with Jason. This is gonna sound strange (given how many times Friday the 13th was beaten into the ground) but I got tired of Freddy real fast and his dumb one-liners. I guess if you wanna get techincal, both series have not aged well.

Sure, they might not have aged all that well – but I still love them to death (at least the Friday films). Every Friday the 13th on the calendar, you can be sure I will be watching all 11 films in a row. It’s just campy (hope you don’t mind the pun), fun slasher horror.

I like Freddy better. I don’t know why though, but I don’t like Jason much. He bores me (but I’m not saying he IS boring, he just bores me :P)

In a one on one fight as in human rules apply? Then definitely Jason. He has the physical advantage, and is a far more effective killing machine.
Freddy might win in a pedophile contest though..or a game of chess. 😛

Yeah……true but freddy is more agile compared to jason…jason is very slow you can see freddy dodging jasons machete.

True True…but Freddy is also alot smarter and in FvJ you hardly see him get hit by jason….if you were to give Freddy and Jason there powers acsept there imortality then Freddy would rain champion.

I think I would have to go with Jason too cos as much as the first Freddy scared me, they got lame real quick. Whereas Jason managed to hold on a bit longer. And I agree with the silent thing. Freddys one liners are a bit much and you always know where he is. Jason on the other is very creepy and you can never be sure where he is and if he will turn up. I think in a fight Jason would win cos he comes back time after time (realistic–no, but hey its horror!) so that makes him a hard nutjob. Whereas Freddy is actually dead (I think!) and only comes through dreams.

Not wanting to start a posting war but I was under the impression that Jason never really died. A lot of people tied to kill him but he always seemed to come back to life. Actually never saw number 6 so cant comment on that one!
