Its true Captian Howdy you can see IP addresses viewing users & most of which are guest & bots!

[Jason Stringer]

Yes, I can see IP addresses.

[Greg]

Nice new ‘last post histories’ added next to the thread links, Cap’n. WordPress also seems to have a new look for the login page. Nice. 😀

[Justin]

I’m liking the new changes. 😉

[granville1]

Me, too!

[Pagan]

Yeah, it looks good.

[Blizzi]

I’m a big fan of CH, but I don’t use the forum because when I log in, I can see my IP address, as well as other member’s, here http://captainhowdy.com/wp-useronline.php I would like to know if this will be resolved as I am worried about security. I don’t mean to complain, I’m just asking =)

[Jason Stringer]

Blizzi,

Unfortunately, due to past attacks on CaptainHowdy.com, (and a former affiliate BloodyNews.com, which even led to legal issues), this function will remain.

If it helps you feel any better – As I understand it, the number displayed is actually the universal IP of your ISP, not your personal PC’s current connection.

[Blizzi]

Thanks for clarifying, Captain.

[Justin]

Loving the site updates so far. 😉

[Blizzi]

Ditto 😀

[granville1]

Yeah, the design looks great.

[Blizzi]

Impressive subliminal/parallel image galleries! I thought I was the only one who saw the statue to left of the door 😛 I could make a screencap of this (and edit it so you can see)if you like 🙂

[Jason Stringer]

Greetings all. I have just made some improvements to the look of the forum. The new style makes it easier to read.

Future features to the forum function are being coded by a third party and I will make them available here as soon as they are available to me.

Hope you like the new forum digs.

[Jason Stringer]

Please, be my guest. I could actually do it quite easily now – the subliminal and parallel imagery sections are just copies from the old website from a few years back – I need to do some updating.
