After spending far too much time scrubbing the old shower enclosure last weekend, I’ve decided it’s definitely time for an upgrade. We’re replacing the bathroom fittings and I’m looking at glass shower screens instead of another heavily framed enclosure. I’d love something sturdy that seals properly and is easy to maintain. Any recommendations from people who’ve installed one recently?

Totally feel you – spent a whole Saturday last month elbow-deep in limescale trying to clean our old framed enclosure and finally snapped. Swapped it for a frameless glass screen and it’s been a game changer for cleaning and space. Went with shower enclosures Uxbridge after a neighbour raved about their fitters. They were proper careful – even checked our tray alignment before templating, which probably saved us from leaks later. Silly story: our cat jumped in during the first test run and just sat there staring at his reflection like “who’s this other cat?”. Six months in and zero mould traps, seals still tight, and a quick wipe-down keeps it looking new. Definitely get a few quotes though – prices vary loads for similar specs.
