“Queen Kong” was a rapid fire (and often mis-firing) british spoof of “King Kong” which was produced about the time Dino de Laurentis made his not quite classic version in '76. Dino sued to keep the spoof out of America & “Queen Kong” fell into deserved obscurity but it is now available on disc (paired with the wonderfully cheesy “The King of Kong Island”) & I got to see this very guilty pleasure which included not one but two references to Linda Blair films. In the 1st, 3 dancing guides appear possessed (spinning their heads & spewing pea soup) & later an airplane with a singing nun warbling to a sick child crashes in the heart of London (mercifully bringing the “Airport 75” joke to a close). There you have it, two for the price of one.

I should see that. I was reading a book with an Exorcist refrencence in it. It was Bill O'Reilly's Bold Fresh Piece Of Humanity. ;D
