I kind of see it as being paralell to some of the same types of things in the original EXORCIST, If somebody hasn’t seen the EXORCIST yet, and they watch DOMINION like it’s the first movie, and the EXORCIST is the sequel, then it’s a good setup and forshadowing of the darker events to come.
