Dominion Takes place in 1947, Exorcist the beginning takes place in 1949, why?
I dont know.

Most fans know that either year is inconsistant with what is said in the original Exorcist, 10 to 12 years, before 1973, placeing it at most around 1960, however some people overlook this or don’t really mind, then other people think it’s a major issue, some suggest that the Priest who said “10 to 12” was off and really wasn’t sure how long it had been, it being kind of a Legend, but not something confirmd or documented.

Now I wonder, in a Fan cut of Dominion
what year should it be, perhaps maybe it could be placed a couple more years into the future, not much though.
Ive always felt that 3 or 5 years in between the Dutch Villiage sequence and the rest of the Movie, was a little to short, I kinda feel, 5 is better, but still It feels like Merrin should have gone several years without speaking to God.

Im interested to know how people feel about this, and get some input.
