ParticipantKinderman: “Another one.”
Merrin: “I’m Father Merrin.”
Pazuzu: “The sow is mine.”
There are too many to sum up just a few, I did my best.

ParticipantI like Heretic. Great soundtrack, photography, Boorman is one of my favourite directors. And Richard Burton is one of the best actors ever. I just think that people expect a totally different direction. But that is just my opninion of course.

Favourite: again Psycho
Worst: no Hitchcock film I have seen deserves such a descriptionFather_Lamont
ParticipantI got them too, I like Schrader’s version better, but the Harlin version isn’t bad at all. I liked them both, two good films in my opinion.

ParticipantYes I did not know there was already a father Lamont, hehe, anyway I picked it because I am a fan of Richard Burton.

ParticipantThe first one is one of my favourites of alltime, never saw the sequels/prequel. Are they any good?

ParticipantIf they remake the film, which would be a mistake, I really hope they cast Stellan Skarsgaard or Max von Sydow as Father Merrin. But I doubt that.

ParticipantIt appears we have almost the same name, anyway, I for one like Exorcist II. I have heard though that Burton accepted the part only to pay the bills.

ParticipantI think Scott and Cobb were both great, but each in their own way.

ParticipantNo horror franchise will ever come close to The Exorcist. But there are some great horror movies out there. John Carpenter and George A. Romero are great. And the Hammer and Universal monsters have some fantastic episodes too.
