Well it looks like you don’t have to worry about being offensive on Cap’s board so here goes.

Ratboy, you are the most chickenshit mother fucker I have ever seen on a message board. Waiting almost a whole month before posting a reply hoping I was gone.

What the fuck is OHMB any you little fuckin faggot?

I am a Zombie fan but I am not a groupie. I can take him or leave him.

The point I won’t let your useless, repetitious, stupid ass forget is, you tried to pass off your shitty workprint downloaded copy off as a real review of a movie you didn’t really see. You are an unscrupulous asshole, and I hope you fuckin die you loser piece of shit…….

They were two different movies. From the feel of the ending to some of the classic scenes from the original not being in the workprint, to his motivations for doing what he ended up doing.

In the workprint you ended up feeling some sympathy for him while in the release he ended being evil through and through.

Two different movies regardless if you thought they were both shit or not.

For the record I don’t care how anyone feels about any movie or director. As long as I like or dislike it any other opinion is useless to me.

I loved “30 Days of Night” even though it got reviewed shitty. Their loss not mine.

To me this case would be the same as someone reviewing The Exorcist but really reviewing Saytan……….

Probably just a coincidence but I noticed the picture of Shirley and Sachi in the lower left corner of the wallpaper, Sachi kind of has the same tweaked part as the book cover…..

I’ve been here forever. This is at least the third incarnation of this board I can remember. Maybe the fourth then it died and everyone ventured over to the Bloody Disgusting boards but it wasn’t the same. I remember one year I even photoshopped some Halloween Pumpkin patterns, posted my collection of Exorcist stuff and used to debate “Little Pig Mother” about Jung.

Yeah, everyone is jumping to your defense…….

I could care less who liked it. That’s not the point.

The point is you were completely disingenuous reviewing a movie you didn’t even see. It was unfinished and not the version the Director wanted released. If you had paid to see it instead of illegally downloading it, I wouldn’t have had a problem with you. Could you point out those “subtle hints” in your original review that you downloaded the workprint cause I still don’t see them.

I didn’t post to debate you over silly B.S. anyway. I just wanted those who read your review that it was not the finished movie as your review insinuates.

    Usually the first Halloween.

After that I watch any of the Hammer movies and the old Universal movies.

Someone is upset they got flat out busted. You watched and reviewed the workprint which wasn’t released by the director or the studio.

You have the orignal on such a pedestal, no one could have done it justice in your eyes. That is actually O.K. with me. That you know about Halloween part anything but #1 proves that. Next time just review the actual movie that was released. Not some half assed workprint that was not the final cut.

By the way, I can almost guarantee you I have been on this board quite a bit longer then you have. Not that it means anything. Oh yeah, I can also remember a time when MTV didn’t exist.

I see you are all butt-hurt about getting caught red-handed but that’s your own fault. if you feel the need to review new releases, at least pay to go see the damn thing. You ruined your credibility, not me……

Well Ratboy. Hasn’t anyone ever told you that downloading movies is illegal?

See, you didn’t see Rob Zombie’s Halloween. You saw the readily downloaded workprint. That is a completely different movie from the one shown in theaters. So you review is worthless right off the bat.

The scene you bitch about regarding the patient getting raped was cut for a much better scene involving people from the cast of “Devil’s Rejects”.

If you feel the need to pass down your wisdom to the rest of us, please do us all a favor and pay to see the actual movie you review instead of downloading the torrent.

    Thank you……

The odds there is any truth to that post is pretty doubtful anyway. And I am related to the guy that inspired Freedy Krueger. How crazy is that?

    O.K. not really……

I liked it. I liked Zombie’s first two movies.

I even liked Hannibal Rising O.K. although it was a rental. I didn’t invest a whole lot into it which may have helped.

Do I think the review would have been any different had he seen the actual movie? I doubt it. There seems to be two camps on this movie. Those that think it is absolute blasphemy to re-imagine this classic, and those that can enjoy it on it’s own merits.

I have watched the original not too long ago and while the vibe is still there, it is very dated.

If you hated his other movies because you think he is a shabby director then I doubt this movie is for you.

I enjoyed the new angles he gave to this movie and you do feel a sense of sympathy for the character. Not as much in the released version then in the workprint, but it is there.

I just don’t think it’s fair that the reviewer slagged a movie he hasn’t even seen.

Well, I was going to P.M. acouple people and see if they had the link I posted a couple of years ago to a copy of the original diary available online.
SInce it’s already “out in the open” I’ll just ask.

Rob has made it pretty clear he doesn’t wish to be bothered. He’s an old man now. Easily in his 70’s so it’s probably best to respect that.

    Anyone?
