I’ve wanted to send these for some time, but I just got the scanner working. My books are mainly illustrated encyclopedias of occult etc. (lurking in a library helps, too) When I first started looking for Exorcist stuff on the internet, I found this was the place to come. I saw all the great things everyone else was sharing with fans like us, and I was so happy with them I wanted to do my part. To give someone else the fun that they had been generous enough to give to us all. Really, it’s the least I can do 🙂

lol Karras and Chris were dead on 🙂 I thought the illustration inside of Legion was kind of odd… I had a laugh the first time I opened it! 😀
That one was from a book about the ghosts of Washington. There’s a chapter about Georgetown. It has a photo of Francis Scott Key’s house before it was the site of Key bridge, and plenty of other haunts 😛 I have more old supernatural books kicking around here someplace… When I find them, they’ll be here in about thirty seconds 😉
I don’t know if this is the right topic for the category, but oh well 😛 Anyone have pics of WPB from dust jackets? Any book of his will do… I’ve seen on ebay different shots of him on various books, but they’re always so tiny 🙂 ps Any Jason Miller shots? (books or otherwise… I’m not fussy 😛 )

http://za-pick.livejournal.com/The legion pun tempted me too 😛 So it was significant that he injected himself in the thigh for the pain (yay, I get something 🙂 ). When he hit his head on the coffee table, it was his temple. Why did he write down the time? Dr. Temple was banging on his door while he was writing it… was he having an episode or attack then? It took me a couple of days to figure out why the Gemini stuffed the nurse with light switches 😛 so please bear with my slow reactions 🙂
I think it was the Gemini/demon attacking Kinderman by showing him Karras’ suffering. (I look foward to granville1’s theory 😉 )
And so he was able to “fight”, as Morning said, and eject the kidnappers from his body. Temple said that he got violent… it seems that James Venamun did not attack Karras’ body but his soul by forcing to watch his friends being murdered. If his soul was not intact, he would not have been able to exorcise himself of the demons/killer in either movie. Regan was completely dominated by her demon; the demon chose to show Karras Regan (in the book) when asked. Karras was more powerful than the demons (in both movies) and able to overcome them.
