Today I received my copy of The Extended Director's Cut DVD (still waiting for the Blu-ray though). I thought I'd share these screen caps of the (very cool) menus and artwork designs the disc features.
The media on the disc is almost an exact copy of the original TVYNS DVD (Theatrical Trailers, TV & Radio spots, Friedkin's commentary).
Being able to see the Extended Director's Cut on this DVD has got me anticipating the Blu-ray even more. It's a very crisp and detailed restoration. Best I have ever seen the The Exorcist.
Cap, I was tempted to buy the DVD since it was staring me in the face when I bought The Exorcist digibook. But, I just couldn't fork out another $20.00 just to own it because it has a cool cover.

Is that the one with the 'help me' picture on the front? I had to return mine because the pages kept falling out!
Justin, mine did the same! I managed to pick it up a the Borders store in Adelaide many years ago. Fell to pieces pretty easily. An extension of the dreaded curse, perhaps? Ha.
There's another one you can get with the face of Regan/Howdy on it after the headspin. I think there's two versions… one has the Legion screenplay too.
Would be neat-o to find these, Justin. They're very rare now. I'll be scoping second-hand book stores and ebay!
