I have seen three of them, the original and the remake and then part 3 and 4. Can’t say i liked them that much.

PSYCHO II was an interesting sequel, actually being helmed 20+ years later and still with Anthony Perkins. There were numerous homages to Hitchcock in the art direction.

Perkins’ own PSYCHO III is okay, if another step down. The TV-movie Part IV is just a curiosity.

Now I’ve seen all the Psycho films save for Bates motel. Honestly, I”m not terribly motivated to watch any Psycho film without Perkins.

Love the “Psycho” series. The Bates charactor is unforgettable and the actor built on those good graces thru 1-4, layering on sympathy & depravity & black humor. Didn’t hate the remake and even got a kick out of Bud Cort in the blasphemous “Bates Motel” tv pilot.

I saw the shower scene of Psycho when I was 5 and I was traumatized for life! I´m a big fan of the movie now, and Psycho II is a great and underrated sequel. Psycho III didn´t have a very good plot, basically it was a re-hash of the events of Psycho and Psycho II, but it had great of colors and beautiful photography. Psycho IV is the worst in the series. The remake was OK, but needless overall. I haven´t seen Bates Motel yet but I´ve seen a trailer for it and it doesn´t seem very good

I was wondering if there happen to be any Psycho fans here on the Exorcist Forum? I’m a HUGE fan of both films.

I’m interested in starting a site, similar to this, dedicated to Psycho. If anyone has Psycho pics, or related materials the wish to share, I’d be most appreciative.
