Participant… if only…

ParticipantCool. I thought I was the only one who dreams of Exorcist people 😉

ParticipantThat would make a neat “Exorcist dream sequence” for a future film…

ParticipantWhat was your last one about?

ParticipantI don’t remember the last one… The most memorable one was a lucid dream. I was walking down pavement that was wet from rain. I then came across George C. Scott as Kinderman. This surprised me into thinking “If this were a dream, I would have Lee J Cobb as Kinderman”. Which made me realize it was a dream. I said “I didn’t think you were going to be here.” He said “I didn’t think I was going to be here, either.”. He had been crying and, thinking back, it must have been because of Karras’ death. I went to a library/hospital. There was orange and purple stained glass on the roof. When I went in, I saw Atkins and nurse Allerton at the center desk talking. I found Dyer (in track suit similar to Karras’) and we talked about “Wonderful life” while walking through the hospital with the beds looking like gravestones.

ParticipantThat’s quite interesting, Blizzi, particularly the hospital beds taking the form of gravestones. I could even see something similar to that incorporated into the film itself.
Perhaps it’s part of the “lost” Legion footage that has somehow managed to manifest itself into your subconscious. Quickly, everyone pry open Blizzi’s skull and excavate that footage!

ParticipantLMAO! My subconscious and I are flattered 😀

ParticipantYou certainly should be. 😉

ParticipantHa ha, last night I dreamt that Jason (from TNC, which I’ve never seen) was the one in the nurses outfit 😛 I wonder what weirdness I’ll come up with tonight!

ParticipantLet us know if you dream that you’re finally watching DOMINION. 😉
Sorry, Bliz. 😛
But seriouly. Let’s see, I’ve once dreamed I was watching Renny Harlin’s (per)version of the prequel, ages before it turned out to be as terrible as we suspected, and the scene where Merrin and Joseph are in an underground part of the church and Merrin’s got the lantern, his shadow is going up the wall… and instead of it being in the shape of a man with a lantern, it’s of his future self, briefcase in hand and hat on head as we walks up to the MacNeil house. And in the torso of the shadow is a certain captain’s gaunt, ghostly, demonic face. I did fan art, way back when:
I know I drew it and all, but what an Exorcist-prequel film that might have made instead of what we got! Of course, if it turned out to be good, Dominion may have never happened. So, I’m glad Renny Harlin got a paycheck, and we later got Schrader’s flawed, but fine film.

ParticipantHAHA! I’ve once dreamed Ellen Burstyn was talking to me in the dining room and The Exorcist was on TV. 😀

ParticipantFun 😉 Last night was something bizarre with Peter Cushing… I won’t get into it 😛

ParticipantLast night I dreamt that I was sitting next to George C. Scott with Ed Flanders on the phone, convincing them both to make a Legion television miniseries.
