Thanks for clearing that up for me,I almost went bought it! I want that ’97 original DVD! There are differences I think in the sound mix of that DVD. I don’t know if it’s me or what,but I seem to hear things in the background of that version that don’t seem to be there in the 25th anniversary.

I felt that the new dvd covers should be posted for those who don’t know what they look like, however my scans are a little uneven so I apologize for that. My personal opinion is they could and should have done much better, and the discs should have gotten some new labels on them, So those arn’t being posted because it’s just what everyone has seen before.
However Id like to say it’s funny to actually se both prequels as in one case as they were supposed to be, but of course Dominion is still treated like number it was made second.

Interestingly, they’ve prevented pirating of The Heretic DVD (as well as the “prequels” DVD), and so perhaps we should credit them for a public service (keeping THe Heretic and The Beginning from spreading any further!). 😛

Yeah, it is weird how Dominion because it has the subtitle ‘Prequel to the Exorcist’ makes it sound like it directly preceeds Exorcist whilst The Beginning is truly the Beginning in the series. People I know who usually bring the prequels up (and usually only talk about Dominion) often are confused.

I was wondering if anyone here has the new box set,and if “The Exorcist” disc is the ’97 theatrical version or the 25th anniversary(Blue Version)?
