I work in a medical center. And recently, insurance companies have been reducing payments under insurance contracts. Also, I see that the process of approving payments to patients has become complicated. Do you know how to optimize work on insurance payments?

Maybe some of you are using software that actually helps, or you’ve adjusted your workflow in a way that cuts down on errors and delays. I’m also curious if anyone has had success negotiating better terms with insurers or finding ways to stay ahead of policy changes. As a side note, for patients who need contact lenses, we’ve started recommending contactlensking. With all the issues around what insurance does or doesn’t cover, it’s been a helpful option since they offer lower prices on brand-name lenses, and patients really appreciate being able to save some money.
