Hello everyone! I have a question: have any of you tried furniture from ProgressiveDesk? I often see ads for their desks and chairs that promise maximum comfort and ergonomics. I work in the office for 8-9 hours a day, sometimes even more, and gradually I begin to feel how my back and neck hurt. I read that their furniture helps solve this problem, especially the height-adjustable desks. I wonder if this really helps, or is it just marketing? Does anyone have real experience?

I have been using a height-adjustable desk and chair from https://www.progressivedesk.com/ for almost six months now, and I can say with confidence that this is not just marketing. At first, I also thought that all these “ergonomic” technologies were just a fashionable trend, but when I started working remotely and noticed how my back hurt and my neck was getting stiff from cheap standing desk, I decided to give it a try. I chose a model with the ability to adjust the height of the table, because sitting at the computer all day, I constantly felt uncomfortable. But the most important thing is that I can now easily change my position – standing or sitting, which is extremely important for the body when you work for many hours. At first, it was unusual to stand, but after a few weeks I felt a real improvement. My back and neck began to hurt much less. The table can be adjusted to any height and the desired height, which is very convenient. By the way, I also bought a chair with lumbar support and an adjustable back. This chair really solves the problem of fatigue and discomfort that arose on regular office chairs. Back support at a height – it is not for nothing that they say that this is important for correct posture, especially when you sit for 8 hours a day. Of course, the price of such furniture is higher than that of regular office desks and chairs, but if you compare it with how much time you spend at the desk, then the investment is justified. I have noticeably improved my well-being, and I have really become more productive at work, because I am not distracted by pain and constant tension in my back. If you spend a lot of time at your desk, such a desk with adjustable height and a good chair are really what you should buy to improve the quality of life and work.

I wonder if it’s worth starting with such a desk if, for example, you’re not quite used to standing work? I also sit at the computer a lot, and sometimes my back feels like it lacks support. But I always thought that height-adjustable desks are something for people who already work professionally standing. In principle, it’s cool that there is such an option, because the very fact that you can change your posture definitely reduces the load on the body. But is it worth switching to more expensive models right away or is it better to start with something simpler?
