Is this that 'inverted cross' you're referring to? I just wanted to see if I could spot it.. Considering this one isn't really inverted hehe =P

Yes, thanks, that's it. Sorry, I meant “inverted” from Merrin's POV, not the audience's.

    Nice capture 🙂

Just checked my copies of both TVYNS and Extended Director's Cut and that shot is most definitely still there.

Man, am I sloppy :)  You are correct – I must have been distracted or something but yes, the cross-debris shot is there.

I am happy about that, but mad at myself for spacing it.

Speaking of theatre amped-up sound, the pre-Blu-Ray screening had a particular moment: Regan's line to Karras “And I'm the devil!” was thunderous.  It actually had a low boom to it.  If anyone has a sound system with a subwoofer, check it out.

Hello everyone!!! I’ve recently been thinking about the symbolism of the Christian cross and how it is sometimes cut up in artwork and movies. This led me to thinking about horror movies, where such symbols are often used for effect. But what really struck me was the amount of Photoshop that is used in these movies. Want to learn how to create similarly impressive effects? I suggest you check out this photoshop rotate image How to Rotate Layer in Photoshop. It will really help you understand how such stunning visual effects are created.
