    Long story short:
For this semester, enrolled in a couple of film studies courses. For one of the courses, we’re already addressing term papers. As one of the available topics, they have looking at the use of sound in particular films. Given they have it listed as an option (and frankly because, to this point, already will admit to having made it a point to note the uses of sound in some parts of the movie (the prologue especially) opted to use this topic with The Exorcist.

The request part of this – so far I’ve found some great articles on the use of sound in movies in general, but not a whole lot touching on the Exorcist (what few I’ve found sometimes wind up citing other works instead or turning into reviews.)
By chance, does anyone know of any good articles one could look into for information here?

    My thanks in advance.
