    Right Ben,

As an interesting side note to futher support the multiple demon problem; one of the phases of diabolical possession is what the Vatican calls “infestation.”

Webster’s defines infest or infestation as:
“1. to overrun in large numbers, usually so as to be harmful 2. to be parasitic in or on.”

Why demons choose to usually possess in large numbers is unknown.

Perhaps Pazuzu is the head or mouthpiece of this legion of demons.

    Excellent Czar!
That sums it up rather well. Now as magus stated, all we need to find out is where Pazuzu fitted into this choir of demons and why merrin was so intent that there “is only one”.One evil perhaps?

It’s Regan roaming around in her bedroom.

This scene is in the film to show the audience that the spirit inside Regan had the ability to “make the straps disappear” any time it wished. The only reason it stayed strapped to the bed, is because it did so willingly….playing another mind game with the priests. Remember the line “much too vulgar display of power”….there you have it.

Regan, that is brilliant observation; I’d NEVER considered this. Thank you. 🙂

Hi I am new to these boards and thank you all for answering to my previous posts! I had a question and sorry if this has been discussed before. What was that shadow that immediatly went to the left in Reagan’s bedroom when Kinderman turned to look up at Reagan’s bedroom? Was that Reagan? Any ideas?
