Jaws fans have a similar predicament where often props are said to be from the original or the second Jaws film since the fanbase generally likes only those two films, but it is very unlikely to get anything new from Ebay these days on the films (especially the first) since most of the fans of the world already own every piece of its history.

In the case of Dominion, there would be a much a greater chance in authenticity. However, the question would be how can one authenticate it?

By the way Mike, I do think that portion of Dominion was left deliberately vague to make it feel creepier as there is no clear explanation. It kind of reminds me of where the cross came from in the original Exorcist FILM and how it got back in Regan’s bedroom. It just adds to a layer of ambigious creepiness.
