KeymasterOne thing that puzzles me about when the candle flames up about 3 feet in Chris' hand is not so much that it flamed so high, but rather that neither Chris nor Karl had seemingly no reaction to that extraordinary event.
Sure Chris was startled probably by both Karl and the giant flame, as they appear to happen simultaneously.
But why, after they both must have clearly noticed this giant flame, did they not say something like, “Hey, did you see how high this candle flamed up? How did that happen?”

ParticipantAt first I thought it was a sudden draft or an air pocket in the wax. But others have suggested that it was the demon. Now I think it might be, if not the demon, at least demonic influence. After all, Chris is only in the attic because that's the location from which poltergeist-like scratchings have been emanating. Just another of the demon's nasty surprises (this scene does not happen in the book).

KeymasterThanks for your reply. Ok, so whether the giant flame was caused by natural or supernatural forces, I think the question remains: why didn't she have any comment about it?
It just seems like such an odd scene to me, that there was no reaction to the giant flame.

ParticipantWhat granville said and I tend to think of it as a demonic force and to effectively scare the shit out of audiences.

Yes, I agree. But interestingly, it didn't appear to phase Chris very much. She seemed to be more startled by Karl, rather than the giant flame.

ParticipantHi all, greetings from Canada! A buddy argued that most of my “decisions” were just mood swings. The diary prompt proved him right; writing a reason canceled two boredom trades on the spot. I switched to threshold rebalancing and felt my urge to poke charts fade. Mid-plan I saved trader app review https://trader-app.org and limited myself to one adjustment window per week. My coffee now stays hot and my nerves stay quiet.

ParticipantHey, after a long day at work I was browsing forums looking for something fun and noticed mentions of bonuses for players from Canada. Right in the middle of the discussion I opened https://thedoghousegaming.com/demo/ the dog house megaways demo and decided to try it out. I started with small bets and went through a few losing rounds that almost made me stop. I risked a little more on the next spins and finally hit a solid win that made the session enjoyable. I’d recommend it if you want a relaxed way to test the game and have some fun.
