Interesting. Its called a “wall crucifix” so I don’t think its the one from the masturbation scene. It would had been nice if they’d posted a still showing where it was used in the film!
It definitely isn’t from the masturbation scene – even the item description says it was only used as a hanging in the background.
Pretty neat find, though (if legit, as Ryan stated).
Entertainment weekly had an article about movie props, one of the props was the crucifix used during the masterbation scene. In the article , there was more than one crucifix used, some were also made out of rubber. I have the article and I will scan the pic one day to post it here.
Hmmm … if this was a real deal, I think it would have sold (which it didn’t) and it would have went up on eBay for a higher price. Plus, the seller, has the “buy at your discretion” part that protects them if it’s not real. Not saying they are dishonest, but it’s hard to believe it is legit.
Could be from any scene throughout the movie, but typically someone would have spotted it somewhere in the film already … we all have those “alert eyes.” It really could be a part of the film, and then again, it couldn’t. But, it only started out around 9 bucks on eBay and nobody bought it. What would disappoint me is if the crucifix had, “Made In China, 1993” imprinted or stamped on the back! 😉
