Well with HD losing out to Blu-Ray in the high-def disc wars, it is now looking unlikely. Still a game of wait-and-see I’m afraid.
There going to release the old Batman movie with Adam West on blu-ray, so I don’t see why The Exorcist isn’t getting the same treatment. Go figure.

There are some threads over there about The Exorcist on Blu. We all need to post on there that we want Warners to put it on BLU and we want it NOW!!!!!!!
And there are some people from Warners that read the forums over there. We need to let them know we are passionate about it!Hey Cap! Now that BLU is the victor,why dont you try that petition again to get on BLU! I know we all can do it!

Yes! I just bought a wonderful toshiba HD TV and a blu-ray player. I am still under shock after seeing the beauty and the perfection of HD images. Yesterday I looked at the “normal” DVD of The Exorcist, but it isn’t that good (anymore). A blu-ray is needed!
I’ll keep a lookout for Blueray news. Seems logical that The Exorcist will end up on this format at some stage. 35th Anniversary, perhaps?
any news on exorcist being re-released on HD and all? They have a good chance to market it good if they can add those deleted scenes which we never saw in THE VERSION YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN.Or perhaps rare things from audio commentarry to the score of the film using it and rare material etc…
