ParticipantThe talent here at CH abounds… that’s quite an achievement, Fr Lamont.

ParticipantHello everyone. I don’t know if I ever said anything on here but I am interested in filmaking. I have made numerous independent films. I even had a composer do some music for it. He scored numerous other independent films such as Dyer’s Eve and Thorn.
I have just finished my first season of a new comedy series. I have made nine, 25-26 minute episodes. They include a laugh track and opening and ending credits. The show is called “Baby Steps”
Here is a basic synopsis. (SETTING: CHICAGO)Karen Page is a twenty year old woman who has just started college. She is very smart and has a bright future as a clothes designer. But her life is turned upside down when she finds out that she is pregnant, and her boyfriend wants nothing to do with the baby. With her friends Sarah (a silly roomate in her apartment) and George (the handsome and suave handyman), she finds that she is always surrounded by people that love and support her.
The show is sort of like the movie “Look Who’s Talking.” Minus the talking baby. In the season finale “Baby Love,” she gives birth to twins and name them Silas and Samuel.
It is a VERY CUTE show and has a great and talented little cast. What does everyone think? Any suggestions for more episodes?

ParticipantThanks. I was editing some on them last night and changed her age to 18.
The feel of the show sort of reminds you of Look Who’s Talking. There is a best friend that sticks with her throughout, her naggy mother, and a handsome male character. If and when I do a season 2, the baby will be little and not talk.
This will be the kind of show that will have to end before the baby talks beacuse we don’t have a real baby. I am already trying hard to think of a way to have a little baby for season two.
