ParticipantAnd I’ve made many scans and such that have been used on other sites. Who cares? I don’t own the copyrights to the original item, so I can’t claim it to be “my work” and neither can you. All we did was scan it (and openly put it out on the internet)..
If you love The Exorcist and Blatty like you said, you wouldn’t care and be happy that you’re making a contribution to the community.

Keymasterstopstealingmyimage, scan an image and put it online – consider it shared with the world.
I have many, MANY scans and screen-caps on this site that have been used all over the internet; so I understand how offended you might be.
However this image is now in the public domain, and I have freely posted it.
I did not ‘steal’ it. We have many visitors each day who submit many items for posting. It arrived in my inbox and I used it. Like I said – it’s in the public domain the second you post it online…
It’s not like people have ‘dodged’ your online auction. It’s a low-res scan, anyhow.
Thanks for visiting CaptainHowdy.com
Prove the image is yours and I will happily hyperlink to where-ever you wish.

Keymasterstopstealingmyimage, please accept my apologies. Having only just re-installed my new PC into my new home interstate, I only just received your emails sent some time ago. You did indeed contact me personally before coming to this public forum (something I can’t blame you for doing as I would have done the same thing had a webmaster not responded to me). I would have replied to your emails instantly but have been offline for some time (as per THIS POST.
Please accept my apologies for stating you should have emailed me first when in fact you had.

ParticipantTake the scan of the “Happy Birthday” ad down IMMEDIATELY. I MADE THE SCAN. You did not ask permission to use my scan of this– you STOLE it from my ebay auction. All you had to do was ask. I work 100 hour weeks at my ebay business, and when someone steals my work, however insignificant it must seem to you, it pisses me off. When that someone ignores messages I write to then, it pisses me off even more. So get back to me finally. What you have done is completely dishonorable.
