By the way, have you ever wondered who does the demon’s voice in dubbed versions? Is there a german, a spenish, a french and so on Mrs. McCambridge?
I think not! hehe, probably sounds funny when they try imatating her(;I asked the guy a while ago if he could send me those clips so I could post them here but he said no, and that they’re only for his “Exorcist site” – which is a lame yahoo group with pics of dead people. :S
oops sorry Cappy! The first time I watched the Exporcist it was in spanish and boy! as far as I remember it sounded as good as the english version. Back in the day, at least in mexico the voice over business was regarded as an art, only gifted vocalist where able to get this gigs… now is a bunch of a$$hole who can’t even enunciate right…
Well those clips are great. I carried on looking through the Exorcist pages and found the boy doing the Maze! Fookin brilliant. I registered on the site cos its fantastic! I’ve watched The Exorcist in French last night. Oh god, that’s horrible. Karras sounds too sexy for a doubt- ridden priest, and the demon sounds just like a witch. Terrible! But kinda funny^_^
YouTube has a lot of cool Exorcist stuff, including three short clips featuring Mrs MaCambridge giving samples(; It was taken out of the uncut version of Fear of God (Wow, I’d really like to see it).
