ParticipantI absolutely loved Saw! Its the best horror I have seen for a hell of a long time. Saw 2 wasnt too bad but didnt quite grip me like the 1st did. Want to hear some opinions on what you guys think of these 2. Over to you….

ParticipantI have every bit of confidence the filmmakers behind this new sequel (VIRTUALLY EVERYONE FROM THE PREVIOUS THREE! That NEVER happens!), aren’t going to do well — in their and fans’ eyes — and now blow it, due to a weak script, bad acting (for what the movie calls for; one may not like the film(s), but that doesn’t mean the acting isn’t so well done it fails to sell story being told), etc. They know what they’re doing, and the evidence is in the first three films; enough evidence to make the most honest of doubters be cautiously optimistic, and us converts counting on their distinctive brand of quality.
I would be shocked if they John Boormanned this, after everything that made the first, second, and third films so great — the trilogy so great. If it was intended to be a turkey, like, say, Exorcist: The Beginning, the individuals-of-talent would have sooner than later dropped like flies. I can’t name one who did, and I’m a shameless, hopeless fan of the series I was skeptical of since day 1, to gradually a lesser extent since, as sequel after sequel blew me away, making this world of SAW a multi-dimensional beast of a saga.
SAW I-III — and soon IV… and V and VI (no joke — they have this planned!) are bigger than the labels people want to give them. And fair enough.

ParticipantI got lost in the Saw seris after 4. It had a good plot thoughout the movies, but I thought it dragged out to far. I haven't seen 5,6, or 7. I'm not sure if I want to.
