Yeah, it was what it was. The audience I saw the movie with seemed to eat it up.
If anything, the first half of the movie, including the reverend showing his “tricks of the exorcism trade” was a real hoot.
Actually, the non-believing son was sometimes creepier than the possessed girl!

I think a younger audience that hasn’t seen Rosemary’s Baby and The Wicker Man and even Blair Witch might like this. It’s all new to them. If you have watched any occult horror, there’s nothing new here……

This movie was just awful.

We meet a guy. Guy meets a girl. Girl poses in odd positions around the house for 5 minutes. The end.

I don’t understand how anyone could enjoy it, regardless of age or film experience. It felt like it only ran for about 30 minutes, yet I was bored to tears the whole way through. Nothing happens, every character is annoying, the camera work is nauseating… save your money!

It’s on my worst of 2010 list, along with the remake of ANOES.
