Participantoh…it looks like you need to rightclick the button and open it in a new wondow to see it.
I cant put pictures in my posts?August 12, 2010 at 12:38 AM #22906fatherbowdern
ParticipantHi carlamae,
Actually a right-click won’t work, at least not for me. You’ll need to put the photo(s) on an online media host like ImageShack or Webshots. Justin, a Life Member on here, typically, if not always, uses Imageshack. I use Webshots, but will eventually move to Imageshack because the images are larger.
I am not the expert on here at all, but someone like the Cap or Justin can tell you more about clicking the “link” button and pasting the URL in your post. Basically, the answer is yes.
Shout out to Justin: What are your settings; i.e., your original image size and how many pixels doe ImageShack offer? I can only link a “NEW” 600 pixel picture, but it sucks.

Are you talking about these?

Which are from the ‘Fear of God’ documentary.
oh…it looks like you need to rightclick the button and open it in a new wondow to see it.
I cant put pictures in my posts? To post your pics on this forum: upload your image to http://imageshack.us, copy the ‘Direct Link’ it generates, and then when posting it here click the ‘img’ button and paste the link into the pop up window.

As long as the image is under 5mb then it can be any dimensions. For example, this is one the largest pictures I have (4486px x 3015px) and can be uploaded at full size as its only 2mb.

Participantyes! Thanks! Well this is the photo i was talking about. Its an intriguing sight to see when you are not aware this is an exorcist-the-movie photo(at least i think so) .
Its just art like this one i use allot for my avatar :
.
Ever since i was a kid i was highly impressed with this bruised, cut, battered face of wisdom( I watched the whole movie trough the large side of binoculars when i was about 8, my parents werent home and they had recorded it from a tv broadcast..the images stood by my side for the rest of my life altough i never really saw exactly what was happening, cos the binoculars made it look like the tv set was 50ft. away from me.) i dont know what it exactly is but i always felt bonded with regan in her battle. Can i find the whole photoshoot online??
It strikes me that my picture has a certain paleness to it like it is some polaroid.(wich looks awesome) Btw im on the other side of the planet, thats why my reply is somewhat delayed.
perhaps a nice sticky-topic on the most beautiful exorcist photo?? all members show the pics they most love??

Participantfather bowden i can tell u now that imageshack really works well, I highly recommend the use of that site hahaha!! I also use google chrome and when i click the ‘img’ button, chrome comes up with a seperate window where u can paste the direct link. It has become really easy to post a pic lately so it seems. Oye, the right click on chrome gives you like 7 options.. one of ’em is ‘open in new window”…
Great meeting you people, very nice website, love the be here(im scrolling up and down this page for 20 mins now hahaha)love carlamae

I wish!
I’m not sure where the first image you posted came from. It’s the same as the one shown in the Fear of God documentary, but it was posted on the old forum (I think by GhettoExorcist or Gemini) with some other pics of Linda and Ellen in various stages of make-up.

The second photo of a bloodied Regan is from the official site (link).

Well not the start of the movie, i remember the scene where the bed was shaking i felt really uncomfortable and i was glad it was daytime xd. but then some doctors came into her room and she started having white eyes and this throat that just kept swelling into somting my young mind couldnt comprehend.. yes from that moment on, every time the room got close to our tv screen, i took my fathers binoculars and placed one big end on my eye. I felt i still was watching and that i was not such a little girl my parents said i was. I can also still remember how glad i was at the end that it was over. yes i guess im a bit lame… hahaha
