This is actually for a good cause and Dietz is helping:

I’m glad you’ll pass, Regan. It appears it never sold, not even for charity. I’m sure it would be like having lunch with a doorknocker.

That just somehow seems really awkward.
“Oh, hey.. Didn’t I see you for about half a second in The Exorcist..?” =P

Um, Damien, are you forgetting that she played the possessed Linda Blair character? That was ALL her. Also, she actually wrote the screenplay that won the Oscar, did all the makeup for the movie, operated all the cameras and financed the movie by herself. Oh, she also played Father Karras, but somehow they mixed up her name with Jason Miller.

Seriously, if I was rich, I’d totally bid on this (and probably win because I’d be the only one) just so I could throw a pie in her face. There are two things in this world I cannot stand: inconsiderate people and liars. She is both.

Oh yeah, she wrote the book too didn’t she? =-)

Well, mostly. WPB might have had some input, but she felt like she didn’t want to take TOO much credit, so she let him write his name on it. She’s so modest!

You guys crack up! You know perfectly well that without Dietz the film would have never made it to the big screen. WB had a lot riding on Eileen’s performance.

“Hey,” says the waitress, “would the lady like some pea soup?”

    “No-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!”

C’mon, Father, let’s give credit where credit is due. Without Eileen, there would be no WB. She single-handedly made the company what it is today. I simply don’t know where the film world would be today if it wasn’t for Dietz’s hard work and humility. Such a class act!

Hah! I can’t even type that with a straight face!

    Excellent laughs there, strawberry.

You are so right. In fact, Hollywood would have crumbled completely without Eileen’s talents!

And to think that no one wanted to go to lunch with Eileen:

LMAO! I about died when I saw this of Eileen in this get-up. Perhaps she was getting ready for her closeup, Mr. DeMille.

Hmm reminds me of Killer Klowns From Outer Space.
