Caps, you haven't mentioned these:
Friedkin: This scene presages what's going to come later in the film, when they have another physical altercation that is a lot more disturbing.
He was referring to the original ending of the spiderwalk and the crucifix' scene. As Chris tried to take the crucifix off Regan's hands, she was shouting the same things of those previous scenes: "Regan, stop it… give it, give IT TO ME! "

When Regan is tied up on the hospital bed for the pneumoencephalogram>Regan tied to the bed throughout the rest of her illness.. Just a thought =P

As long as I gaze on Waterloo Sunset, I am in paradise.

There's also this correlation about the bed straps:
- Mama Karras tied to the hospital bed in the asylum
- Regan tied to the hospital bed during observation in the Barringer Clinic
- Regan tied to the bed upon meeting Karras and throughout the exorcism
There's also one about the wallpaper in Mama Karras's home but I can't remember that one … something about roses perhaps.

Yes, thank you Sof, DK and FB!
These and others will be included in the soon-to-be-updated Exorcist Parallel Imagery page.
Same goes for Subliminal Images.
